Respiratory Therapist - PRN

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex patient care, medication administration, and implementing respiratory treatments based on advanced knowledge and independent judgment. The role primarily involves critical care, including ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and patient education. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional patient care through assessment, therapy planning, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Administer aerosolized medications, manage ventilators, perform invasive/non-invasive procedures, and ensure patient safety. Educate patients and mentor new staff, students, and peers. Promote quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and compliance with policies. Qualifications & Skills: Requires Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy, with NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS certifications upon hire. 0-2 years of clinical experience, including at least 6 months in critical care.
