Senior Project Manager

Senior Project ManagerHendall is seeking an experienced project management professional to support the Project Director of a mission critical data systems project. This position will provide oversight, direct management, and technical support for all aspects of the project. Responsibilities include overall project planning, governance, and management. Duties will focus on project planning, monitoring, and control while also include involvement in tasks of a technical nature, i.e. systems and data related.Assist in the development and maintenance of the project work plansOversee daily operationsOversee and facilitate tasks for staff supporting the projectWork with project team and client staff to establish timelines, quality standards, and assess the level of effort and resources requiredCommunicate risks and proposed mitigation strategies to the clientMonitor aspects of the budgetProvide QA/QC review throughout the lifecycle of the project deliverables, to include documents that are made 508 compliantWork with project technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve data and system issuesParticipate in client status meetingsParticipate in Ad Hoc meetings with clients and other contractorsPrepare agendas, minutes, and other documents required for client meetingsPrepare Monthly Progress Reports, including activities performed during each reporting period, planned activities for the next reporting period, and project metricsDevelop and maintain project documentation, such as task flow diagrams, task processes (SOPs)Support internal projects and initiatives and perform other duties as assignedBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related IT field of equivalent experienceAt least 5 years of experience in managing data systems projects in the health and human services fieldsStrong proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Outlook) and MS Project to create complex project artifacts, manage schedules, and analyze dataAbility to ask effective questions, quickly adapt to change, multi-task, prioritize, and effectively delegate projectsPossess strong customer service and client management skills leading to high client satisfactionExperience with Atlassian products Jira and ConfluenceExperience in Agile methodologiesExperience with system and database design and developmentExcellent communication skillsExperience with Section 508 compliance a plusSalary Range : $135,000 - $155,000 per yearHendall Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
