We are looking for a Driver to transport customer product in a safe and timely manner. Driver responsibilities include planning each route based on road and traffic conditions and managing payments. Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction, making sure clients depend on us for their transportation needs. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver?s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations.

Shift Schedule:  9am - 6pm EDT

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour - $21.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Accepting payments for delivered items.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Proven experience as a Driver
• A valid driver?s license
• A clean driving record
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• A high school diploma

• Constant sitting and operating of the cab/tractor trailer
• Frequent climbing in and out of cab, trailer and on freight
