We are expanding our operations and seeking a dynamic Inventory Management Specialist to join our Grid Components team in Mount Pleasant, PA. This role offers you the chance to oversee inventory levels within a power products manufacturing facility, ensuring the accuracy and availability of materials necessary for production. You'll play a key role in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies, improving stock management processes, and supporting cost-saving initiatives. If you are passionate about inventory management and want to make a significant impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you!How You'll Make an ImpactMaintain accurate inventory records for all raw materials, components, and finished goods.Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock availability for production.Track inventory movement throughout the manufacturing process and warehouse.Coordinate with the purchasing department to reorder raw materials and components.Conduct regular physical counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.Collaborate with production and procurement teams to meet manufacturing demands.Suggest improvements to inventory management procedures and practices.Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.Your BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus.2+ years of experience in inventory management or supply chain, preferably within manufacturing.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4 Hana) and inventory management software.Knowledge of lean inventory management, JIT strategies, and demand forecasting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.More About UsHitachi Energy offers a collaborative and innovative work environment.We provide opportunities for professional growth and development.Join us to be part of a team that values sustainability and cutting-edge technology.Ready to make a difference?
