Finance Manager
Our client, a privately held multi-market media company, is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, reporting, and analysis for its Madison-based regional operations. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role will partner closely with the Regional Publisher and division leaders to support financial performance, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
This is a key leadership role for a finance professional who enjoys working within an operationally complex business and thrives in environments where data-driven insight directly influences day-to-day decisions.
Core Duties
- Lead monthly close processes, financial reporting, and variance analysis for the Madison division
- Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts in partnership with operational leaders
- Provide financial modeling and analysis to support pricing, advertising packages, and event ROI
- Monitor revenue performance across print, digital, and event lines
- Manage AR aging and partner with sales operations on collections
- Support audit preparation and compliance with corporate accounting policies
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and process improvements
- Present financial results to senior leadership and contribute to strategic planning
