DescriptionAt Weyerhaeuser, our IT team is at the forefront of the timber industry’s digital transformation. Our investments encompass a broad spectrum of technologies and tools, all designed to support our vision to be the premier timber, land, and forest products company. We leverage digital solutions, automation, data, and analytics across the entire supply chain: from seedlings to homebuilders. We are embarking on a 5-year growth strategy to generate $440M in EBITDA in Wood Products through the building of a new mill, expanding distribution footprint, new products and internal growth. Foundational strategies involve Industry 4.0/Smart Manufacturing concepts, advanced analytics, machine learning/artificial intelligence, automation, robotics, digital twins, and computer vision. This position is an integral part of the centralized IT Enterprise Architecture Team at Weyerhaeuser, closely aligned with the Wood Products business. The role focuses on advancing our manufacturing & operations solutions while strengthening technology innovation. Outstanding business insight, strategic thought process, knowledge of cross-functional integration, comprehension of the impact of infrastructure on applications, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Must be able to understand the enterprise implications and trade-offs as well as solution-level technology, value and risks. Proven leadership in team management, both formally and informally.Over 10 years of experience in relevant IT technology such as ERP (SAP), Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations Management Solutions,CRM, Sales & Service, Logistics and AnalyticsGood understanding of operational technology and manufacturing systemsExperience with integration patterns and platforms like Boomi and API managementExperience with infrastructure and cloud architectureFamiliarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and concepts such as TOGAF or ZachmanCreate the storyline to convey why change is needed and options to reach the desired results.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to understand customer and partner business needs, lead requirement gathering and analysis, and design solutions that drive business outcomesAbility to educate stakeholders on complex technology subjectsExcellent interpersonal skills, able to influence, collaborate and manage group dynamics to drive consensusAbility to promote a collaborative environment, encouraging input from others and respecting others’ opinionsFamiliarity with OT frameworks and standards such as the Purdue model, ISA-95, ISA-112, ISA/IEC 62443 Familiarity with Supply Chain frameworks and processes such as SCOR, S&OPPreferred, not required: Operations Technology experience (PLCs, HMIs, IOT, historians, MES, SCADA, etc.) a plusRelevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) preferredAI/ML experience and certificationsPractical experience with Snowflake, SAP S/4.Practical experience in Wood Product manufacturingExperienced in translating business and technology requirements into easy to consume strategies, roadmaps, alternatives, etc.EducationBachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related experience is requiredAbout Weyerhaeuser At Weyerhaeuser, we are the world’s premier timber, land, and forest products company. What We Offer:Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $144,790 - $217,185 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 25% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.This position is also eligible to receive $32,000 in restrictive stock units on an annual basis, as part of our Long Term Incentive Plan.Benefits: When you join our team, you and your dependents will be offered coverage under our comprehensive employee benefits plan, which includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and life insurance. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use.
