Academic Geriatric Physician Opportunity in Greenville, North Carolina

ECU Health Physicians and East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Physician or Internal Medicine Physician with additional qualifications in Geriatrics to join their growing department. This is a fixed-term or tenure-track academic position at the rank/title of Clinical Assistant Professor or higher. Location Greenville, NC (population 90,000). It is located 80 miles east of Raleigh and 80 miles northwest of NC’s Crystal Coast. Responsibilities Provide patient care in an ambulatory geriatric clinic, inpatient setting, and a continuing care retirement community with skilled care beds. Teach, mentor, advise, and supervise residents, medical students, and other learners. Develop administrative and scholarly skills. Provide consultation services to patients in the community and hospital inpatient services. Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible Family Physician or Internal Medicine Physician.
