Customer Service Representative

$22 per hour

As a Customer Service Representative , you'll join our client's established industrial supply team and help businesses secure the welding, safety, and gas products essential to their operations. This role combines responsive customer service with consultative inside sales, allowing you to build lasting relationships and solve real customer needs.

Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. schedule
Very limited overtime and rare weekend work

Compensation: $22 per hour, depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing:

Handle inbound inquiries and convert customer needs into sales
Make outbound calls and emails to follow up with leads and existing customers
Recommend products, address objections, provide quotes, and prepare sales orders
Build strong relationships with business and industrial customers
Monitor inventory and communicate expected delivery dates
Maintain customer and sales information within company systems
Partner with outside sales representatives and resolve delivery concerns

What You'll Need to Be Considered:

Bachelor's degree, relevant training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to interpret safety documents, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals
Comfort preparing reports and calculating discounts, commissions, percentages, and proportions
Ability to regularly lift 10-20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Experience using inventory or order-processing systems
