We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.Job Summary:Supermicro is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager to lead the definition, architecture, and delivery of next-generation AI infrastructure solutions.This role is responsible for developing complete rack-scale AI systems based on the latest GPU platforms, integrating compute, storage, networking, power distribution, liquid cooling, mechanical design, and manufacturing into deployable data center solutions.The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who understands not only servers, but also how an entire AI cluster is designed, built, validated, shipped, and deployed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Key ResponsibilitiesProduct DefinitionDefine next-generation AI rack products based on NVIDIA, AMD, and future accelerator platforms.Translate customer requirements into complete rack-level solutions.Drive product roadmap and feature planning.Balance performance, cost, manufacturability, and deployment requirements.Rack Solution ArchitectureOwn the overall rack architecture, including:Rack mechanical layoutGPU and CPU server integrationNetwork topology and switch placementCable routing and serviceabilityRack level power architectureLiquid cooling architectureRack serviceability and field maintenanceCustomer Solution DevelopmentWork directly with hyperscale and enterprise customers to define AI infrastructure solutions.Review customer requirements and recommend optimized rack architectures.Conduct technical design reviews and solution discussions.Support customer qualification and deployment activities.Cross-functional LeadershipLead cross-functional collaboration with:Mechanical EngineeringElectrical EngineeringThermal EngineeringManufacturing EngineeringNetworking EngineeringSupply ChainCost EngineeringValidationProgram ManagementField Application EngineeringSalesDrive engineering decisions across multiple organizations.Product DeliveryOwn rack BOM definition and configuration management.Drive prototype builds and engineering validation.Coordinate mechanical fitting tests and system integration.Review packaging, logistics, and shipment readiness.Support manufacturing transfer and mass production.Technical KnowledgeCandidates should have working knowledge in most of the following areas:AI server architectureRack mechanical designPower distribution systemsLiquid coolingHigh-speed networkingCable managementManufacturing processesProduct lifecycle managementCost optimizationSupply chain collaborationData center deploymentSuccess ProfileThe ideal candidate:Think at the system level rather than the component level.Can identify technical trade-offs and make balanced decisions.Is comfortable working with customers, engineering teams, and executive leadership.Can independently drive complex AI infrastructure programs from concept to production.Demonstrates ownership, technical depth, and strong execution.Qualifications:Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.8+ years of experience in servers, storage, networking, or data center infrastructure.Strong understanding of AI infrastructure architecture.Experience with rack-level system integration.Familiarity with GPU server platforms.Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.Excellent written and verbal communnication skillsDesired Qualifications:Experience with:NVIDIA HGX / MGX platformsGB200 / GB300AI factory deploymentsHigh-density AI racks (>100 kW)Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC)InfiniBand and Ethernet fabricsOCP/Open Rack standardsRack validation and manufacturingSalary Range$155,000 - $185,000The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
