ABOUT THE ROLE

VALiNTRY is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant for a contract opportunity in Columbus, Ohio at theat John Glenn Columbus Int’l Airport. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling day-to-day accounting support, high-volume data entry, reconciliations, accounts payable, billing, and general administrative responsibilities. Pay: $20.00–$26.00 per hour (W-2). For exceptional candidates with highly relevant experience or specialized technical skills, compensation above the listed range may be considered. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform accurate 10-key data entry of receipts and tickets into the accounting system Complete account reconciliations and research discrepancies Process and support Accounts Payable activities Track purchase orders and related documentation Assist with customer billing Maintain accurate accounting and transaction records Support shipping and receiving activities as needed Sort and distribute daily mail and deliveries Provide general accounting and administrative support

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting clerk experience Strong 10-key and data-entry skills Experience with account reconciliations Accounts Payable experience Familiarity with purchase orders and billing Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to stay organized while handling multiple responsibilities

DESIRABLE

Inventory accounting experience Experience working with inventory transactions, adjustments, or reconciliations Experience in a distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or similar inventory-based environment
