About the Role:

As a Weekend RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of registered nurses and certified nursing assistants on weekends. You will work closely with the administrative team to develop and implement effective staffing schedules, coordinate patient care, and address any concerns or issues that may arise. Your strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and excellent communication abilities will be essential in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of nurses and CNAs on weekends, ensuring that patient care is delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures

• Develop and implement effective staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care

• Coordinate patient care and services, including medication administration, wound care, and therapy sessions

• Participate in performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members

• Address patient and family concerns, and respond to emergency situations as needed

• Collaborate with the administrative team to resolve conflicts and improve patient outcomes

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, incidents, and concerns

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Connecticut

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
