divh2Job Title/h2pResponsible for supplying raw materials and supplies to production lines using very methods and tools./ph3Essential Duties And Responsibilities/h3ulliFollows all company safety rules and policies./liliOrders and releases raw materials./liliLiaises between production and purchasing./liliConducts inventory and cycle counts and investigations./liliReads work orders, production schedules or follows visual and oral instructions to determine materials to be moved, what parts are to be retrieved from receiving and where on the production line to position the specific parts for use by production employees./liliKnows, or can learn, manufacturing processes, receiving and production floor parts inventory procedures./liliOwns the kanban replenishment process, including maintenance of kanban bins/locations, visual parts, setup, and proper replenishment requests./liliRemoves and delivers damaged parts off the production floor to the proper site./liliOperates forklift in a safe productive manner./liliWorks cooperatively and congenially with co-workers to achieve cohesive and productive work processes and work environment./liliPerforms additional tasks as assigned by management or as the situation requires./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliAbility to follow verbal and written instructions./liliAbility to read and follow work orders./liliAbility to perform basic computer operation tasks and capable of learning programs used in kanban and production areas of the company including ERP Software, spreadsheets, and email./liliPossess a certified forklift operator license and a minimum of one-year experience. OSHA trained./liliFamiliarity or ability to learn lean flow manufacturing concepts./li/ulh3Physical Demands Work Environment/h3ulliAttend work regularly and report promptly for duty on the days and at the times scheduled by the supervisor./liliSchedule changes occur and should be handled in a productive manner/liliWorking temperatures vary with seasonal changes and climate control is limited. The environment is one in which noise exists./liliSit on a forklift, stand, and/or walk for a combined minimum of eight (8) hours per day on a concrete surface./liliLift and carry components, tools, or other items weighing more than 35 pounds. Any item over 35 pounds, is to be done with assistance/liliMay perform combination of physical movements to reach areas difficult to access including bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, twisting and rotation motions using head/neck, arms, wrists, waist, knees and arms while performing duties./liliPull and push up to 100 pounds./liliHandle small hand tools and power tools. Handling may be done unilaterally (one-handed) or bilaterally (two-handed) depending on size and shape of object and task being performed./liliNeed corrected vision to be aware of surroundings and location of items needed and perform various other job duties./liliNeed corrected hearing to identify conditions in the environment (i.e. forklift horns, fire alarms)./liliNeed mental alertness to identify, avoid, or resolve safety hazards./liliAbility to communicate with supervisors and co-workers./liliAbility to wear designated personal protective equipment for the work assignment (i.e. safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, cut resistant sleeves, dust masks)./li/ulpHours of Work/ppMonday Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm and OT when required/ppITW is an equal opportunity employer.
