Description:
Vivalon is seeking a caring and dependable Special Needs Attendant to support our adult clients with disabilities during transit. This vital role assists drivers in ensuring safe, respectful, and comfortable transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist clients during transit
- Support drivers with safe loading and unloading of passengers
- Properly use safety restraints, wheelchair securements, and seat belts
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding for individuals with disabilities
- Maintain professional and respectful interactions with clients, coworkers, and community members
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
- Communicate client concerns to drivers and management
- Friendly, reliable, and committed to excellent customer service
- Genuine desire to help others and support individuals with disabilities
- Valid California Drivers License or California ID Card
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to attend a 5-day paid training in San Rafael, CA (commute stipend provided)
- Provide two professional references
- Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and comply with random testing per federal regulations
- Ability to pass a background check (Safety Sensitive position)
