Cook (Experienced Cook In Hotel)
MGR Workforce is currently hiring an experienced Hotel Cook for a well-established international hotel chain in Houston, TX. This is an immediate opening offering full-time hours with a strong opportunity to become a permanent employee based on performance and other business factors.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to hotel recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure food is presented consistently and meets guest expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
- Assist with food preparation, stocking, and inventory rotation.
- Monitor food quality and report shortages or equipment issues.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Previous culinary experience working in a hotel, resort, or hospitality kitchen is required.
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate (required)
- Culinary education or professional cooking certification is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
