Pre-Weigh Associate

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Pre-Weigh Associate for a company in Largo, FL. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as weighing/ measuring and preparing ingredients for manufacturing according to approved batch records and procedures. 

Pay Rate
$22.00- $24.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Pre-Weigh Associate   Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and follow batch records, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Verify ingredient names, lot numbers, and required quantities before weighing.
• Accurately weigh ingredients using designated scales and confirm scale readiness before use.
• Clearly and accurately record weights, lot numbers, dates, and required signatures in batch records at the time work is performed.
• Label and organize weighed materials to maintain traceability and prevent mix-ups.
• Follow GMP, hygiene, PPE, and cleaning requirements.
• Keep the weighing area, equipment, and utensils clean and organized.
• Immediately report discrepancies, weighing errors, missing information, or equipment problems to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with production to ensure materials are ready when needed.

Pre-Weigh Associate   Qualifications  and Requirements  

• High school diploma or GED certificate required
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written manufacturing instructions.
• Ability to write legibly and complete records accurately.
• Basic math skills, including decimals and units of measurement.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work consistently without skipping steps.
• Manufacturing, ingredient weighing, or GMP experience preferred.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively with a team.
