Financial Reporting Specialist
\nPosition Overview
\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for creating comprehensive financial reports, supporting external audit processes, ensuring compliance with banking covenant requirements, and managing consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities
\nFinancial Reporting
\n- \n
- Build and maintain financial reports using various accounting software platforms \n
- Develop automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy \n
- Create, maintain, and support various business units with budget preparation and forecasting processes \n
Consolidated Financial Reporting
\n- \n
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for multiple legal entities and subsidiaries \n
- Perform consolidation adjustments including intercompany eliminations \n
- Ensure proper application of consolidation accounting principles and standards \n
External Audit Support
\n- \n
- Support external audit activities throughout the audit cycle \n
- Assist with audit report preparation \n
- Respond to auditor requests for reporting and variance analysis \n
Bank Covenant Reporting
\n- \n
- Monitor and report on bank covenant compliance on a regular basis \n
- Calculate and track key financial ratios and metrics required by lending agreements \n
- Prepare detailed covenant compliance reports for banking partners \n
- Identify potential covenant violations early and recommend corrective actions \n
- Maintain documentation supporting covenant calculations and assumptions \n
General Duties

- Support budget preparation and variance analysis \n
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records \n
- Participate in process improvement initiatives \n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy \n
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business unit leaders on financial planning \n

Required Qualifications
\nEducation & Experience
\n- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field \n
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting or public accounting \n
- Experience with consolidated financial reporting and multi-entity accounting required \n
Technical Skills
\n- \n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling) \n
- Experience with financial reporting tools and databases \n
- Budgeting and forecasting software experience \n
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation \n
