Contract | 3x12-Hour Variable Shifts (Days and Nights available) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting
• Perform triage, assessment, and treatment of patients presenting with a wide range of emergent conditions
• Administer medications, including continuous IV sedation, and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems
• Float to other units or facilities as needed based on staffing requirements and qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with Emergency Department experience (firm requirement)
• At least one prior travel assignment (firm requirement)
• Two completed references from most recent employer required at time of submission
• Teaching hospital experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• Experience with continuous IV sedation
• Emergency Department triage experience
