Discover the full scale of Gildan and prepare to be surprised at gildancorp.com.### The opportunityResponsible for supervising material handlers, equipment operators, team leaders, and others in a manner that will maximize order flow, inventory accuracy, and processing standards. This opportunity is based in our Sales Marketing and Distribution Team.**The role*** Supports daily distribution demands in receiving, order processing, and/or shipping by assisting with resource allocation, workflow organization and order prioritization* Monitors workflow, space and supply constraints. Offers suggestions and implementation processes that will ensure efficient flow pf product through area(s) of responsibility* Maintains accurate operational and inventory reports as required/requested by the management team* Direct associates and their work activities to ensure optimum efficiency within the defined scope of operation* Monitors associate performance daily and communicates information regarding goals, responsibilities, policies, procedures and areas for improvement. Responsible for initiating corrective action as needed* Maintains teams work schedule, associate time-off requests, attendance and timekeeping records, and approves time for payroll processing for all associates within their scope of responsibility* Ensures safety and housekeeping duties are followed in assigned areas* Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.**The requirements*** High School Diploma + Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)* Experience with a Warehouse Management System preferred (i.e. WM Manhattan, PkMS, Oracle WM, SAP WM, RP)* Ability to work in a team-based environment* Experience within a manufacturing company supplying product to Retail Customers preferred* Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and written* Must maintain confidentiality in regards to sensitive information* Vision is required in order to read instructions, interpret data and formulate metrics* Hearing is required in order to hear instructions, receive information, and understand safety warnings### What’s in it for you?* Join a publicly traded company dual-listed on NYSE and TSX with great potential* Be part of a workplace where meaningful connections and teamwork are celebrated* From local to international, be ready to work alongside a diverse group of colleagues* Benefit from mentorship and continuous development opportunities* Take advantage of our attractive benefits packagesWe want to get to know you better!
