Responsibilities

• Perform CT and conventional radiography exams according to physician orders, ensuring proper protocol, patient positioning, and image quality.
• Operate CT scanners and X-ray equipment; select appropriate exposure factors and maintain radiation safety with ALARA principles.
• Provide C-arm imaging support in the operating room as needed.
• Verify patient information, ensure correct exam labeling, and document procedures accurately in the system.
• Collaborate with radiology teammates and OR staff to maintain efficient imaging workflow and timely study completion.
• Adhere to infection control practices and report equipment issues or malfunctions promptly.
• Note geographic eligibility and scheduling constraints as required for the travel assignment.

Requirements

• Experience with CT and radiography imaging is preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and maintain a 4x10-hour shift pattern.
• Comfort providing imaging support in a surgery center environment and in OR settings as needed.
• Willingness to perform C-arm imaging in the OR when required.
