Per Diem Registered Nurse - Short Stay Observation (3 Mandell)

Position Summary / Department Summary We are seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to join the team within our Post Anesthesia Care Observation Unit on 3 Mandell. Key Responsibilities Caring for post-surgical pediatric patients Working collaboratively in a family-centered environment. Ability to work a Day/Night rotation. Primarily 12-hour shifts, with some flexibility needed for 8- and 10-hour shifts. Weekend requirement will include Friday nights and/or Saturday days. No Sundays, no on‑call requirements currently. Holidays are required. Minimum Qualifications Education A Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Experience Minimum of 2 years of inpatient Boston Children’s Hospital RN experience or 2 years of other pediatric inpatient experience. Post‑surgical care experience preferred. Licensure/ Certifications Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good‑faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job‑related factors.
