Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)Location: Annapolis Junction, MD, 20701 CLEARANCE: TS/SCI W/FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPHJob Description: The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) will be responsible for ensuring the security of information systems within the organization. This includes implementing security measures, monitoring for security breaches, and responding to security incidents. The ISSO will work closely with IT teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities, as well as develop and implement security policies and procedures.Responsibilities:Implement and maintain security measures to protect information systemsMonitor systems for security breaches and respond to security incidentsWork with IT teams to identify and address security vulnerabilitiesDevelop and implement security policies and proceduresConduct security audits and assessmentsProvide security training and awareness to staffStay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trendsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field10+ Years if security experience.CISSP requiredCISM, or other relevant security certifications preferredExperience working in information security or related fieldStrong knowledge of security principles and best practicesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well in a team environment
