Job Title Endocrinology Physician – Independent Practice Physician (Ownership Model, Not Employed) Job Type Independent Practice Opportunity Job Overview The position is for physicians who wish to establish or transition to an independently operated medical practice that is supported by MedCBO’s administrative and operational infrastructure. Physicians own and govern their own practice entity while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business support. The role is not an employment relationship; physicians retain full clinical authority and decision‑making. Physician Responsibilities Provide medical care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO support. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform and implementation. Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural).
