Overview We’re looking for a Garage Renewal Underwriter to join our team. In this role, you’ll specialize in underwriting garage lines insurance, helping businesses in the automotive industry stay protected. You’ll evaluate insurance applications for property and casualty coverage, ensuring fair and accurate decisions. If you enjoy analyzing details, collaborating with others, and making informed decisions, this role is for you. How you'll make an impact Assess insurance applications for garage lines, including risks related to auto repair shops, dealerships, and service garages. Evaluate property value, location, usage, safety features, and other key details to determine whether to accept, modify, or decline risks. Work closely with field teams to gather information and support your underwriting decisions. Assist senior underwriters in managing accounts and delivering excellent service to clients in the automotive industry. A commitment to delivering fair and accurate underwriting decisions that meet the unique needs of automotive businesses. About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office. Detail oriented; strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills. Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position.
