**Exciting Opportunity for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic team in our Labor and Delivery unit! - Night shifts available: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) - Experience the thrill of assisting with high-stakes deliveries and postpartum care. **Requirements:** - Travel experience required; seasoned travelers preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, with strong precepting skills a plus. - Patient ratio: 1:3 for days and nights. **Certifications:** - Required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP - Preferred: AWHONN Advanced **Skills:** - Medication & Administration: - Anticoagulation therapy - Antihypertensives - Insulin drips - Magnesium Sulfate therapy - Labor and Delivery Management: - Circulate for C-section - Sterile vaginal exams **Work Settings:** - High volume of births/month: 200-300 - Experience in High Risk Antepartum and LDRP is a must. **Professional Topics and Skills:** - Familiarity with isolation precautions/PPE - IV therapy and phlebotomy skills - Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC) **Additional Information:** - Float between like units may be required. - Pre-approved time off: 2 requests. - Orientation hours: 36. **Patient Demographics:** - Age groups: Neonates and Adults - Daily census: 12 - Number of rooms/beds: 10 **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
