Position Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and in-depth examinations of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work alongside surgeons to create and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Support intraoperative activities, which includes prepping operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments
• Provide exceptional pre- and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience completing clinical rotations with a strong surgical focus preferred

Required Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
