• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $50.00-$55.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift (3×12 Hours), 19:00-7:00. Shift start time 11:00 PM with flexibility to start four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need. * VERY RARELY FLEXED ONLY WHEN THERE IS AN URGENT STAFFING NEED *

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Room (ER) specialty at a medical facility in Worcester, MA. The engagement is a 13-week contract on a night shift schedule (3×12 hours, 19:00-7:00), with strict orientation compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• Must be able to read telemetry
• ACLS required
• BLS required
• PALS required

Preferred Skills

• EPIC (electronic health records system) preferred

Education Requirements

• Permanent Massachusetts (MA) RN license in hand required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Flu vaccine required (Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
• Night shift (19:00-7:00); shift start time 11:00 PM with flexibility to start four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need

Important Notes

• Traveler must be aware of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam . Both exams allow 1 attempt only. If the traveler does not pass, the contract is cancelled immediately.
• Several study materials will be provided between the compliance process and FDIs.
