Family Medicine Physician
Location: Southbury, Connecticut
About the OpportunityWe are partnering with a well-established, community-focused healthcare organization seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join its growing primary care team in Southbury, Connecticut .
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a collaborative practice environment, strong clinical support, and an excellent work-life balance. Physicians will have access to modern technology, experienced clinical staff, and a patient-centered care model focused on delivering high-quality outcomes.
New graduates and recent residents are encouraged to apply.
Position ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate ongoing patient care.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate medications and treatments.
Promote preventive care, wellness, and patient education.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development.
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
Eligible for unrestricted Connecticut medical licensure.
Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience is preferred but not required.
