OT - Occupational Therapist

Inpatient Occupational Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

The Occupational Therapist facilitates the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled individuals, maximizing the functional status of hospitalized patients. Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, implementing, and modifying age-appropriate treatment programs, participating in discharge planning, performing administrative duties, engaging in performance improvement activities, pursuing professional growth, and executing other assigned duties.

Evaluate patients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

Implement and modify therapeutic interventions based on patient progress and needs.

Participate in multidisciplinary discharge planning meetings.

Complete necessary administrative and documentation tasks.

Engage in performance improvement initiatives within the department.

Support professional development and continuing education.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.

Active Occupational Therapy licensure in Arizona.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient setting, showing ability to function independently.
