Modern, kid-friendly facility designed for comfort and efficiency Cutting-edge technology combined with a compassionate care approach A supportive network that encourages growth into leadership roles The chance to make a meaningful impact on children’s health and your own career journey Summary of Essential Job Functions Assist office managers in supporting and supervising back-office employees Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties Takeand processdental radiographs (x-rays) Prepareand sterilizeinstruments and equipment Takeimpressions of the patient's teeth(models), extractions, composite fillings, etc... Teachpatients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling) Askabout the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse Helppatients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures At a Glance Certifications Required : CDA or RDA andEFDA course completion (as mandated per state requirements), X-ray certification Additional Certifications: Coronal Polishing certification is a plus Experience : 1+ years of experience as an EFDA Job Type: Full-time Compensation and Schedule Salary: Starting at $32.00 depending on certifications. Additional increases for experience Bonus Pay: up to $600 additional per month Schedule: On-site.
