Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Austin, Texas. This role involves providing compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients within a busy emergency services environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Austin, TX
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/06/2026
• Required Qualifications: Credentials and certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), and NIHSS experience. Healthcare professionals must possess at least zero years of experience and hold a valid license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic medical record system, trauma experience, inpatient experience, CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification.
• Additional Information: The unit is equipped with Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers. The team includes charge nurses and additional mid-shift staff. The units procedures include splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, Morgan Lens use, rapid infuser operations, and resuscitation. The department promotes a team-oriented, multitasking environment and encourages a professional dress code with navy blue scrubs.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
