About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: None specified Description: This is a cardiovascular surgery unit. The unit features 13 beds. The staff consists of 62 members. Day shift staffing includes 32 personnel, which comprises 1 Charge RN and 1 board runner. Night shift staffing includes 2 personnel, comprising 1 RN and 1 CST. The patient ratio is 1:1. The equipment used includes an EMR system. On-call requirements are 2 nights a week and 1 weekend per month. There is no floating requirement for staff. Candidates must have experience circulating for heart surgeries. Preferred candidates will have additional skills related to heart surgeries. Common procedures performed include CABG. The unit operates under a drama-free policy.
