Position Press Brake Operator – $2,500 Sign‑On Bonus. Purpose of Position We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC‑controlled hydraulic press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to producing high‑quality work. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets and plates. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machine settings and material requirements. Select appropriate tooling and dies based on material type and thickness. Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet blueprint dimensions and specifications. Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain dimensional consistency, part quality, and productivity. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
