Home Health AideAt American Home Health and Hospice, we are looking for a compassionate full time Home Health Aide to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients homes in accordance with an established care plan.ResponsibilitiesProvide health care services in patients residencesPerform domestic and household tasksAdminister simple prescribed medicationsAssist with clients personal care activitiesMonitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their conditionMaintain patients care records and document provided servicesAssist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercisesProvide companionship and basic emotional or psychological supportCOVID-19 Precaution(s):Temperature screeningsSanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in placeCOVID-19 Vaccination required per agency policyEnvironment:Home HealthCommunity-based servicesHospice at HomeSalary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:401(k) for Full Time StaffEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceStandard shift:Day shiftEvening shiftNight shiftSupplemental schedule:Extended hoursHolidaysOvertimeWeekly schedule:Monday to FridayRotating weekendsWeekend availabilityRequirementsCurrent CHHA CertificateProven working experience as a home health aideAbility to monitor vital signs and to collect specimensFamiliarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standardsNursing and health care administration skillsCaring and compassionate personalityCurrent BLS
