Respiratory Therapist

Job Functions:

• The RRT will provide direct patient care services with specific emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices;
• support requests for continued supply of durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers;
• assist in training on use of inhalers;
• set up patients with DME equipment;
• work closely with physicians.

Skills:

• RRT - Required
• 1 year hospital or physician office experience - Required
• Computer literacy - Required
• Manager is looking specifically for NICU/PICU experience or at least RT with 5 years or more experience

Edcuation:

• CoARC - accredited Respiratory Therapy program Required.
• RRT or CRT from NRBC.
• New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP).
• BLS
• ACLS

Shift:

• 7p-7a night shift
• On Call Required?: no
• Holidays Required?: yes
• Will Worker Float to Other Facilities? Prn
• Weekend Requirement: preferably every other, minimum of 1 full weekend a month
