The Junior Systems Administrator role requires working onsite 2 days per week in RTP, with the remainder of the schedule remote. The Junior Systems Administrator role is ideal for an early-career IT professional with experience supporting infrastructure, networking, and Windows-based environments who is looking to expand their expertise in systems administration.Responsibilities of the Junior Systems Administrator include:• Provide day-to-day support for on-premises servers, operating systems, and core IT infrastructure.• Assist with network and system maintenance activities, including hardware deployments, cabling, patching, and equipment upgrades.• Troubleshoot and resolve user, server, and network connectivity issues to maintain operational efficiency.• Support system monitoring, documentation, and administrative tasks to ensure stability and compliance with IT standards.• Work alongside senior infrastructure team members on technology enhancements, deployments, and ongoing support initiatives.Requirements of the Junior Systems Administrator include:• 2+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure support, or network administration.• CCNA certification or equivalent Cisco networking knowledge required.• Experience troubleshooting network issues, supporting switches and routers, and performing infrastructure maintenance.• Familiarity with Windows Server administration and on-premises technology environments.• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.Compensation for the Junior Systems Administrator include:• Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 annually• Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law.• Hybrid work schedule with 2 days onsite in RTP.• This job opens for applications on 09/25/2026.
