Specialty Powders Production Operator (02859)

Adecco Staffing is partnering with a local manufacturer in Woonsocket, RI seeking a 1stshift Specialty Operator. The hours for this role will be 7AM-3:30PM Mon-Fri with a starting pay rate of $19 per hour.Job Responsibilities:Precious Metal Dissolution & ProcessingPerform dissolution processes on precious metal sponge to create a variety of precursor solutions.Safely handle and work with hazardous chemicals in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including glassware, air pumps, temperature probes, and pH meters.Wear and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).Monitor process conditions and report mechanical, electrical, or process issues to supervision.Contribute ideas and recommendations for continuous process improvements.Powder Processing & Material HandlingProcess metal powders following synthetic manufacturing operations.Wash powders using Buchner funnels or decantation methods.Transfer processed materials from wash vessels into drying trays.Operate drying equipment, including conventional and vacuum ovens.Screen materials using Vorti screeners.Perform jet milling operations on powder materials.Package finished materials into designated containers.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Qualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Previous experience in chemical manufacturing, laboratory, or industrial production environments preferred.Ability to follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recognize process abnormalities.Working knowledge of laboratory equipment and measurement devices preferred.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective verbal communication skills with coworkers and management.Ability to work with hazardous chemicals and wear required PPE.Flexibility to work overtime as needed.Pay Details: $19.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
