Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a multi-specialty ICU position requiring MA licensure and telemetry expertise.

Job Details

• Work in a 38-bed (28+10) multi-specialty ICU setting,
• Care for CCU, SICU, MICU, Neuro, and CT patient populations,
• 12-hour D/N rotating shifts, 7a-7:30p and 7p-7:30a,
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required,
• May float to Med/Surg as needed,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license required,
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required,
• Minimum 2 years of RN ICU experience in a multi-specialty ICU setting,
• Nursing diploma, ASN, or BSN required (BSN preferred),
• Telemetry experience required with ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips,
• Must pass a telemetry/dysrhythmia test on day one,
• Strong verbal and written communication skills,
• Basic computer proficiency required,
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities,

Additional Information

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and patient education,
• Collaborate with an interprofessional healthcare team to coordinate and delegate patient care activities,
• Update and manage patient records and interpret computerized data,
• Follow established nursing department guidelines and policies,
• Assist leadership with quality improvement projects as needed,
• Supported by a collaborative and dedicated nursing team,
