Overview Location: Mount Pleasant, MI Experience: 8 - 15 years Application deadline: 22-Jun-2026 Responsibilities Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ETL solutions. Design and develop DataStage jobs to extract, transform, and load data. Use various DataStage stages (e.g., Transformer, Aggregator, Lookup, Filter) to manipulate data. Create job sequences using Autosys to orchestrate the execution of multiple jobs. Work with Git and follow DevOps practices and tools. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in Python and strong knowledge of SQL & PL/SQL. Manage and maintain DataStage server environments, ensuring system stability and performance (on-premises and cloud). Analyze and optimize existing ETL jobs for performance improvements. Troubleshoot ETL job failures and identify root causes during migration efforts. Monitor job execution and proactively address potential issues. Implement and maintain best practices for ETL design and development. Hands-on experience with DataStage migration or upgrade from on-premises to cloud. Document processes, procedures, and system configurations for knowledge sharing. Participate in team calls and meetings. Qualifications Datastage experience (including Datastage Anywhere ETL). Strong ETL/Data Integration skills with DataStage, Autosys, and related tools. Experience with on-premises and cloud DataStage environments. Proven ability to analyze, design, implement, and optimize ETL processes. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PL/SQL. Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent qualifications (as referenced). Salary and Benefits Base Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000 per annum. Discretionary annual incentive.
