Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts | 12-Hour Shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a) | Every other weekend and every other holiday required | On-call time is separate from standard scheduled hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry unit, maintaining established nurse-to-patient ratios
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Participate in self-scheduling while remaining flexible to fill open shifts as directed by scheduling leadership
• Adhere to unit protocols for holiday and weekend coverage requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Local candidates are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Telemetry unit experience
• Comfort floating between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry settings
• Experience working in a self-scheduling environment
