CAD Drafter/Designer
Create detailed, manufacturable CAD drawings, modifying designs to improve quality and support engineering collaboration.
Overview
The CAD drafter/designer will be preparing formal engineering drawings on a drawing template under the guidance of a senior engineer. Drawings will be created from on-hand parts, photographs, engineering sketches, and working prototype parts and assemblies, using a standard drawing template. Typical parts will include mechanical parts, electrical cables and connectors, and outline-and-installation drawings for electrical circuit card assemblies.
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent.
- 3-5 years experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD) (required), ideally with SolidWorks
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Background Check and Drug Screen may be required.
