Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care

Location: Port Huron, Michigan

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 5 days/week

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in cardiac care. The RN will be responsible for the delivery of nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice, adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing care to patients within the cardiac unit.
• Follow established protocols and guidelines within the assigned area.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to improve patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and advocacy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Strong cardiac experience and proficiency.
• Cath lab experience is required.
• Willingness to float as necessary.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Prior travel experience is preferred.
• MediTech experience is preferred.
