Job Title: Wound Ostomy Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Wound Care/Ostomy Duration: Not specified Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience required within specialty. License: Registered Nurse license required. Certifications: Required: AHA BLS, CWON(R) or CWOCN(R) certification, Wound Care certification (WCC, CWS, or CWCN). Ostomy certification is optional. Must-Have: Ability to work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and 1 minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in wound care and ostomy. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent relevant experience. An AHA BLS certification is mandatory. Certified Wound Ostomy Nurses must hold either a CWON(R) or CWOCN(R) certification. Wound care certification (WCC, CWS, or CWCN) is also a requirement. Ostomy certification is preferred but not required. Working during designated major and minor holidays is a requirement of this role.
