A Gallery Host at Hyatt Place serves as the welcoming face of the hotel—combining front desk responsibilities, food & beverage support, and guest services into one dynamic, guest‑focused role. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment and enjoys creating a warm, seamless experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities   Front Desk & Guest Services

• Greet, register, and check guests in and out efficiently.
• Manage room assignments, verify payment methods, and handle guest inquiries.
• Provide personalized recommendations for dining, transportation, and local attractions.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues with professionalism.

Gallery Kitchen & Food Service

• Assist with food preparation, service, and restocking in the Gallery Kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
• Serve beverages (including alcoholic beverages where permitted) following brand standards.

Lobby & Public Area Support

• Maintain a clean, inviting lobby and public spaces.
• Ensure the Gallery, seating areas, and workspaces remain tidy and guest‑ready.

Operational & Administrative Tasks

• Operate the hotel’s reservation and property management systems.
• Process payments, manage reports, and support daily hotel operations.
• Assist with meeting room setup and light business center support.

Qualifications   Required

• Strong customer service skills; hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency (PMS experience a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol (varies by location).

Preferred

• Previous hotel front desk or food service experience.
• Familiarity with Hyatt brand standards.

Work Environment

• Rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Frequent guest interaction and a blend of standing, walking, and light lifting.
• Collaborative team atmosphere with opportunities for advancement (e.g., Front Desk Supervisor, Sales Coordinator).
