LVN Admissions DirectorAt The Meadows Post Acute, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents and their families. As an LVN Admissions Director, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth admissions processes while fostering strong relationships with the community and our hospital partners.Responsibilities:Assist in developing and implementing facility marketing strategies to attract new residentsServe as the primary contact between the facility and hospital discharge planners to ensure seamless transitionsCommunicate with referral sources to build relationships and identify unmet healthcare needs in the communityComplete necessary paperwork to ensure appropriate admissions to the facilityLead team meetings regarding admissions and census to drive business growthOrder and maintain adequate marketing materials and ensure information packets are availablePrepare daily census reports and complete monthly and quarterly reports as assignedHandle inquiries from hospitals and the communityScreen potential admissions, including establishing payer source, obtaining authorization, determining Medicare eligibility, and assessing level of careProcess admissions, including notifying nursing staff, creating resident identification bracelets, providing charts, and completing admission contractsMaintain public relations with referral sources and foster ongoing internal public relations with residents and their families post-admissionRequirements:LVN licensePrevious admission experience in SNFStrong interpersonal and organizational abilitiesProficiency in computer skillsSolid knowledge of reimbursement processesGood physical and mental healthFamiliarity with medical terminology is preferredReporting:The Admissions Director reports directly to the Administrator.Salary: $34 - $40 HOURLYIf you're passionate about delivering exceptional care and services, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a deep understanding of healthcare dynamics, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role at The Meadows Post Acute.
