ServiceNow DeveloperInsight Xcite is looking for talented developers who can help us expand our ServiceNow practice. We have multiple Software Developer positions to fill supporting fully funded projects onsite with a client in Northern Virginia area. The successful candidate will help implement new features for complex, mission-critical, enterprise applications that bring data and features together with innovative user experiences.Responsibilities:Design and develop ServiceNow solutions to meet Sponsor mission requirementsMaintain a good understanding of the customer's ServiceNow business needsCreate and manage workflows, business rules, and scriptsProvide ServiceNow integration support with external systems and data sourcesConfigure application User Interface (UI)Define data tables, user interfaces and add business logic in the ServiceNow applicationCustomize ServiceNow applications and facilitate roll out of new applications and modules and configure application UI, workflow, and APIFollow an agile software development methodology for planning, implementing, and delivering ServiceNow capabilitiesImplement the full software development life cycle to support the deployment of custom applications in the ServiceNow platformProvide technical expertise on all technical questions related to assigned development on the ServiceNow platformRequired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI With Fullscope Poly Clearance is requiredMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future3+ years of experience with ServiceNowServiceNow Certified Administrator CertificationCreating and designing application tables within ServiceNow platformDevelopment using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java or developmental language.Demonstrated experience using relational databasesUnderstanding of best practices across both commercial and federal sectors as it relates to workflow and process managementAbility to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environmentFully capable with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Bachelor's degree preferably in an IT related field 6 years of related experience; or a Master's with 4 years of experience; an Associates with 8 years of experienceDesired Qualifications:ServiceNow Certified Application Developer CertificationCustomization of the Application UI and workflowDemonstrated experience with ServiceNow data models, capabilities, and relationshipsDemonstrated experience with the ServiceNow Business Rules and the scripting aspects of the ServiceNow PlatformExperience in scrum and agile frameworks for development to include task management, performing stand-ups and sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentationExperience interviewing stakeholders to gather system requirements, estimate the level of effort, develop conceptual designs, and implement ServiceNow solutionsAbility to develop briefing slidesDemonstrated experience with project management toolsDevelopment of reports according to ongoing customer needsDemonstrated experience formatting, layouts, coordinate complex text and graphics for management briefings
