Maintenance Technician

Overview Lorien Bel Air is looking to hire a Maintenance Tech to join our dedicated team. In this role, you’ll support and complete project work throughout the community, helping us maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-kept environment for our residents, families, and staff. Competitive Pay $18 - $20 per hour (based on experience) Same-Day Pay for all Employees! Benefits for Full-Time PTO: 80 hours vacation + 40 hours sick time (rollover available) 6 Personal Days 7 Paid Major Holidays Double time when worked for all hourly employees CareFirst Medical Benefits Tuition Assistance RN Loan Repayment HRA Fund Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Perks Employee Discounts Earn Points, Earn Rewards Professional Development Attendance Rewards Referral Program Responsibilities Completing work and repair orders in a timely fashion Performing routine preventive maintenance inside and outside of the building Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary Carpentry experience, preferred Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment Strong HVAC knowledge or certification Must have the ability to handle a physical workload Plumbing, painting and electrical experience Qualifications Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation. Previous painting or maintenance experience required. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and with a team. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general repair practices.
