As lead perfusionist, will assist the Chief Perfusionist in monitoring the clinical expertise of the perfusion staff, manage payroll and clinical schedule, manage the day-to-day operations in tandem or in lieu of the chief perfusionist depending on chief’s availability. Performs as a clinical instructor. Educates hospital staff and visitors about the practice of perfusion. Has on call and weekend responsibilities as determined by chief perfusionist. Minimum Qualifications Successful graduation from an American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion accredited cardiovascular training program Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical care as a pediatric perfusionist Requires current status of Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) and state licensure by the Maryland Board of Physicians. Salary Range: Minimum 74.29/hour - Maximum 122.60/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
