State Tested Nursing Assistant - Warren, OH

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team. As an STNA at Washington Square Nursing & Rehab, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with our skilled nursing staff to ensure our residents receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Assist with vital signs, weights, and other patient monitoring as needed
Help with mobility and transfers, including use of mechanical lifts and equipment
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and facility operations

Requirements:

Completed State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) program
Current STNA certification in the State of Ohio
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
