Key Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching certification required for consideration
• Experience teaching or supporting students in special education, preferably with a 1:1 focus
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet student needs
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic educational environment
• Willingness to relocate or commute within North Carolina as a travel candidate

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to assigned students, reinforcing social, academic, and behavioral goals
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in close coordination with school staff and families
• Track student progress and adjust strategies accordingly
• Employ evidence-based approaches to promote engagement and success
• Maintain thorough records and contribute to meetings, assessment, and planning
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment tailored to each student's unique abilities
