ROLE IMPACT
This role ensures accurate and culturally relevant translation and transcreation of marketing and crisis communication materials for a leading cosmetics brand. Success in this position means delivering high-quality bilingual content that resonates with Spanish-speaking audiences across multiple media formats and channels.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate and transcreate English-to-Spanish marketing materials, including collateral, social media posts, and educational content
- Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure clarity, tone, and cultural accuracy
- Adapt scripts for subtitle/voice replacement in video projects
- Support crisis communications and fast-turnaround translation needs
- Collaborate across teams to manage multiple translation projects with competing deadlines
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or MA in Translation (English-Spanish), Communications, or Spanish
- 5+ years of experience translating/transcreating marketing and crisis content
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experienced with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools such as SDL/Trados
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
- SDL/Trados or equivalent CAT software
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Glossary/terminology management platforms
- Subtitling or video editing tools (preferred)
- Email and project tracking systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience translating for cosmetics or beauty industry
- Familiarity with digital marketing formats
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills
